EAST ACCESS ROAD REPAIRS

Thetford, VT

LEI has completed the USACE project which involved various repair areas along East Access Road in Thetford, Vermont. The 3 mile stretch of road sustained substantial damage during a high intensity storm event that dropped roughly 4.5 inches of rain in a short period of time on July 1, 2017. The work involved 12 different repair areas along the road. Repairs include regrading of roads, culvert removal, replacements and cleaning, new rock-lined inlet and outlet protection, new gabion wall construction, beach replenishment, stream construction, new stone revetment and bendway weir construction, new storm drainage installation, new swale construction, paving, various erosion protection and landscaping.
